About
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Augsburg in the group of Prof. Francesco Piazza. Before this I worked as a post-doc at Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, Dresden. I received my Ph.D. (thesis) in Physics from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai under the guidance of Prof. Rajdeep Sensarma. I work in the area of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Optics.

Research
My research concerns non-equilibrium phenomena in quantum many-body systems. It ranges from studies of the dynamics of quantum systems starting from non-thermal initial states to controlling material properties via cavity-induced non-equilibrium steady states. Non-equilibrium field theory is my primary method of investigation.
